Krish Ashok is the author of MasalaLab: The Science of Indian cooking, published by Penguin RandomHouse, and an Amazon best-seller that explores the science of Indian cooking with the aim of making the reader abetter cook and turning the kitchen into a joyful, creative playground for culinaryexperimentation. The book uses simple, first-principles, middle-school level scienceexplanations and hand-drawn illustrations to break down what happens in theIndian kitchen and recommends algorithms and metamodels for common dish typesand regional Indian sub-cuisines.
In his day job, Ashok is the GlobalHead – Digital Workplace forTata Consultancy Services (one of the world’s largest technology companies) andhelps Fortune 1000 companies reimagine the future of work, a role that is atthe intersection of technology, design and culture. He also makes simple explainer videos debunking popularmisconceptions about food and diet on Instagram and YouTube, and is a regularcolumnist on food, science, and culture for publications such as Mint, TheHindu, Conde Nast Traveler and Scroll. He is a trained Indian classical violinist whoalso plays the Cello and electric guitar and composes and produces music thatyou can listen to on all major streaming platforms. A particularly popularplaylist is Sanskrit Rock, where he translates and adapts popular heavymetal and classic rock songs into Sanskrit. His music was featured on NPR

Justice Gita Mittal had an illustrious legal practice in all courts and other judicial forums since 1981, and was invited to Bench of the Delhi High Court as an Additional Judge in 2004. Justice Mittal was confirmed as a permanent judge in 2006 and appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of Delhi High Court in April 2017. On 11th August 2018, she was sworn in as the first woman Chief Justice of the Jammu & Kashmir High Court. Justice Mittal has, during the course of her career in law, extensively dealt with, as well as contributed through her judgments, talks and publications, towards numerous aspects of law, including, but not limited to company laws, civil and property legislation, corporate laws; intellectual property law; environmental laws; protection of human rights; access to justice for the disadvantaged; impact of incarceration on women; gender issues; human trafficking; corporate social responsibility; death penalty; impact of religion, culture, tradition on judging; mediation.


Shri. Sanjay Kumar joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1990 and was allocated Bihar cadre. Initially, he held several positions in the field as Sub-Divisional Magistrate and District Magistrate. He worked in Ministry Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India from 2004-2008 and as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Jharkhand, from 2015-2018. In the last 10 years, he has worked extensively in senior positions in the sector of health and education in Bihar and has developed an interest and expertise in public health policy, grassroots mobilisation, and education. He has varied interests, mainly eclectic reading, including natural sciences and history. He earned a B.Sc. (Physics Hons.) from St Stephens College, University of Delhi, an M.Sc. (Physics) from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and an M.Phil. (Defence Strategic Studies) from National Defence College, New Delhi.


As a highly respected pianist, and a national award recipient for Creative and Experimental Music, Anil Srinivasan's contributions in music are notable. As an Educator, he is the Founder of "Rhapsody - Education Through Music", a venture that has pioneered concept learning using music as a tool in schools. He is a regular speaker at conferences, a columnist with The Hindu and the New Indian Express on music and the brain. With an M Phil from Columbia University specializing in cognitive neuroscience, a respected expert resource on child development for various organizations. He was recently awarded the "Educator Extraordinaire" from Rotary International, the Aspen Global Fellowship for social change, and the Ken Hobbs Citation for Social Responsibility. Anil is also an Associate Professor of Practice at KREA University, sharing cross-disciplinary philosophies in education.
